CORE transformed the last remaining factory on London's South Bank. Union Works - a Grade Two listed building - was the site of Britain's last remaining bearbaiting arena dating back to the 1680s. The building was cleared and sensitively restored for the exhibition. CORE featured the work of 13 artists including Anya Gallaccio, Michael Sailstorfer, Massimo Bartollini and David Cotterrell. CORE was centred around the theme of chemical and physical change.
